At OkeyDice, we've always had one rule: the die decides, not you.
It got you out of a bind when choosing a restaurant, settled your relationship over who does the dishes, and revived evenings that were dragging on forever.
But there is a category of decisions that we have not yet dared to touch.
The ones we sit down in the evening. Just the two of us. In the dark.
The idea that's been floating around in our heads for the past few months
We're imagining a new set.
Not for the food. Not for the movies.
For games that are played with two — or more — when night begins and the filters fall away.
One mischievous die. Or four. Nothing is decided.
What we do know is that the OkeyDice format is perfect for this: you roll, you follow the rules, you take responsibility. Chance removes the awkwardness. And awkwardness is often what prevents the best evenings.
What we have in mind (draft)
Some leads we've been revisiting for a while:
- 🎲 A "Who Does What" die — but the adult version. Massage. Package. Surprise. It's your turn.
- 🎲 An "Atmosphere" die — Romantic. Intense. Tender. Wild. Unexpected. Let the die decide.
- 🎲 A "Location" die — because getting out of the room can be a good idea.
- 🎲 A "Rules of the Game" die — the kind that adds a level.
But we don't want to decide that on our own.
And now, we need you.
This set does not yet exist.
And before we create it, we want to know what you think. What you really want. What you would dare ask of a die.
So we'll ask you the question directly:
💬 What would you call this set? Dare to suggest a name. Throw out an idea. Tell us if you want it subtle, suggestive, or completely unfiltered. The best suggestions will be used—and the people who submitted them will know.
Leave your comment just below. We read everything.
Why are we telling you now?
Because OkeyDice is not a brand that releases products in its own corner and hopes they will be well-received.
It's a brand that does things with the people who use it.
If we make this set, it will be your set as much as ours.
The die will have spoken. You will have given it its voice.
— The OkeyDice team. Undecided on the name. Determined to do it if you want.
